How Long Does It Take?
It takes only a few minutes to take impressions of your child. The rest of the work is done by us in our studio. The finished product is delivered back to our host store in 6-8 weeks. We will call you when your order is ready for pick-up.   Back to top

Is There An Age Limit?
There is no age limit. We've printed infants as young as 31 hours old and adults as old as 90 years. However, there is a size limit. Usually by the age of five years we can only fit a handprint on the plaque.   Back to top

Can You Print My Baby While He/She Is Asleep?
Yes, we can print sleeping infants, but they will usually wake up during the printing.   Back to top

How Do You Manage To Make A Good Impression?
We have several years experience printing thousands of children. Besides purchasing a lasting keepsake of your child, an important part of what you're paying for is our ability to get a good impression. We make the process easier by using a soft, moist clay. It's also easier to print children with full tummies, toys, treats, and plenty of rest.   Back to top

When Do I Pay For The Print?
Your payment is due at the time of printing. Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover accepted.   Back to top

What Happens If You Are Unable To Print My Child?
We have a three strikes law. If after three attempts we are unable to print your child, we will ask that you bring the child back when he/she is a little older. Typically, children between the ages of 18 months to three years are the most difficult to print. However, it is rare that we are unable to get a good impression.   Back to top

Can I Buy A Gift Certificate?
Yes, gift certificates are available. You may purchase any amount you wish. Be sure that the recipient is in our service area in Los Angeles or Ventura County.   Back to top

What Happens If My Print Is Damaged?
We take great care to ensure the quality of your print. However, on rare occasion a print is subject to defects due to clay discolorations, glaze anomalies, contaminants, misfiring, etc. If your order is damaged during the production, we will give you the choice of a full refund or a reprint.   Back to top

Is This Safe?
Absolutely. The process is completely safe and pain-free.   Back to top

How Do I Attach The Photo?
When you receive your finished plaque, just tape your favorite photo on the back so that it shows through the cut-out. Your photo is not needed at the time of printing. We do not supply the photo or attach it. Our photo cut-outs accommodate a wallet-size photo.   Back to top

What are My Choices?
You have six decisions to make:
1) Color - your choice of pink, blue, green, lavender, yellow, and natural (cream).

2) Shape - your choice of hearts, rounds, squares, ovals & rectangles.

3) Decoration - your choice of moons, stars, flowers or a combination.

4) Impressions - how many impressions do you want - hand, foot, one of each or all four? There may be size limitations.

5) Photo Cut-Out - do you want a cut-out for a photo? (extra charge)

6) What do you want written on the plaque? We can write your child's name, age, birthdate, etc. We can also write a special message such as "Happy Father's Day", etc. Of course, how much we can write is limited by the size of the plaque and how much space is available. We try to accommodate all requests.   Back to top

How Durable Are The Plaques?
Because the plaques are made of kiln-fired ceramic, they are far more durable than Plaster of Paris plaques or air-dried clay. However, treat them as you would your ceramic dinner plates. Remember that your keepsake is not a toy and should always be handled with care.   Back to top

How Can I Best Display My Cherished Keepsake?
Your plaque will have a ribbon with a loop in the back so that you can hang your keepsake on a wall. We also offer lovely wooden plate stands that you can purchase. Some of our customers tell us that they display their plaques in shadow box frames.   Back to top

Do I Need To Make An Appointment?
If you are planning to have your child printed while we are at one of our host stores, then there is no need to make an appointment. All orders are taken on a first come, first serve basis. However, if you would like to arrange a printing at our studio in Camarillo, please call us to make an appointment. Studio printings are done only on weekdays.   Back to top
